This Cookie Policy explains how the CoachOS website at https://coachos-ai.com (the "Site") uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. "Similar technologies" include localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixels. Under the EU ePrivacy Directive, UK PECR, and equivalent rules, we may store or read information on your device without consent only when it is strictly necessary to provide a service you requested; everything else requires your prior consent.
2. What we use — and what we don't
CoachOS is built to be privacy‑first. We do not use advertising cookies, cross‑site tracking, social‑media pixels, or third‑party marketing cookies on the Site.

Because we set no non‑essential cookies and use only cookieless analytics, no consent banner is legally required. We still show a short, dismissible cookie notice for transparency.
3. Third‑party assets
We self‑host our web fonts and our backend client library, so visiting the Site does not transmit your IP address to third‑party font or script CDNs for those resources. We load a decorative icon library (Ionicons) from its public CDN; it does not set cookies, does not identify you, and is not used for tracking — though, like any external request, it technically discloses your IP to that CDN to fetch the icons. None of these assets set advertising or tracking cookies. If we ever load a third‑party asset that could set cookies or be used to track you, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
4. Managing cookies / storage
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Doing so will not break the Site's core content, though the early‑access form relies on strictly‑necessary storage to work.

5. Changes
If we introduce any new cookies or tracking technologies, we will update this policy and, where the law requires consent, implement a compliant consent mechanism before activating them.
